Preparing Students to Teach and Lead in a Diverse, Globally Connected World

It has never been more important for educators and other professionals engaged in the field of education to be globally conscious and equipped to instill global competency in their own students. Through engagement with international students, institutional partnerships, on-campus international programming, study abroad opportunities for both graduate and undergraduate students, and research with visiting scholars, we prepare globally conscious citizens, teachers, administrators, researchers, and policymakers who are ready to confront the global challenges and embrace the worldwide possibilities of our time.

Careers in GSE and HRD: Online EdM Student Alumni Panel - Education at Illinois, Online Programs

As part of our series, Careers in Education, we feature two online student alumni who earned their Master of Education degrees in Education in Global Studies in Education and Human Resource Development.

The panelists will discuss their current positions and how their studies at the College of Education at Illinois impacted their professional pursuits. The second half of the session will enable participants to pose career-specific questions to the panelists and learn about how others might move into or advance within their fields. You could join us for the entire session, or the second half focused on career-specific questions. This event aims to inform current and prospective students about career possibilities.
