It has never been more important for educators and other professionals engaged in the field of education to be globally conscious and equipped to instill global competency in their own students. Through engagement with international students, institutional partnerships, on-campus international programming, study abroad opportunities for both graduate and undergraduate students, and research with visiting scholars, we prepare globally conscious citizens, teachers, administrators, researchers, and policymakers who are ready to confront the global challenges and embrace the worldwide possibilities of our time.

Mark your calendar! The Center for Children's Books 21st Annual Book Sale is April 23 from noon to 6 p.m.
The Book Sale will take place in the first-floor lobby of the new iSchool building, located at 614 E. Daniel St., Champaign, IL 61820.
Each spring, the Center for Children’s Books (CCB) hosts our Annual Book Sale, where we sell hundreds of new children’s books for youth, ages birth through high school. Our titles represent the full spectrum of children’s publishing in fiction and nonfiction: board books, picture books, easy and transitional readers, chapter books, series fiction, novels, activity books and kits, nonfiction series, mass-market paperbacks, and more. Paperback books are $1 or $2 each, hardcover books are $5 each, and individual items are priced as marked.
All proceeds support the Center for Children’s Books and The Bulletin of The Center for Children’s Books. Please email bccb@illinois.edu or call (217) 244-9331 for more information.
