Preparing Students to Teach and Lead in a Diverse, Globally Connected World
It has never been more important for educators and other professionals engaged in the field of education to be globally conscious and equipped to instill global competency in their own students. Through engagement with international students, institutional partnerships, on-campus international programming, study abroad opportunities for both graduate and undergraduate students, and research with visiting scholars, we prepare globally conscious citizens, teachers, administrators, researchers, and policymakers who are ready to confront the global challenges and embrace the worldwide possibilities of our time.

The College of Education’s Office of Online Programs is hosting a virtual networking event for all online students in the college. We will be featuring some of the current online students, who are doing exciting things in their careers in their field. There will then be time for Q & A and small group conversations for networking opportunities. The purpose of this event is to inform and inspire, our current students and prospective students about career possibilities. This is also an occasion to bring together current and prospective students and alumni. This event is being online via Zoom on October 28th, Thursday evening from 5-6 pm CST. Please register if you plan to attend. You will receive the Zoom link upon registration: https://choose.illinois.edu/register/?id=5dadc9a0-6b4f-4cdb-b06b-6f56ca8d763d
