It has never been more important for educators and other professionals engaged in the field of education to be globally conscious and equipped to instill global competency in their own students. Through engagement with international students, institutional partnerships, on-campus international programming, study abroad opportunities for both graduate and undergraduate students, and research with visiting scholars, we prepare globally conscious citizens, teachers, administrators, researchers, and policymakers who are ready to confront the global challenges and embrace the worldwide possibilities of our time.

Are you an archival researcher with thousands of archival photographs and documents stored on your computer or in the cloud? Do you search through historical documents by flipping through photographs on your computer? Are you interested in learning how to use Tropy to organize and store your archival data? Tropy is a free, open-source software that is innovative for archival researchers. This workshop will demonstrate how to utilize it as a resource to help you organize and describe your documents and photographs while including metadata so that your citations remain accurate. Participants will have the option to bring their laptops so that we can walk you through setting up Tropy.
This session will not be recorded as it will be an in-person workshop, bring your lab top to work on and an empty stomach as lunch will be provided!
